About Glacier
Are you looking for a gentle mature, laid back tom cat who will be your best friend. Thats me. I overheard the vet tell my foster Mum that I am a beautiful cat after I stayed in his hospital when I was desexed.
I think I am pretty special and seems other people think so too.
What we think:
Glacier is one of the most affectionate cats you could meet. He has a fantastic soft nature and is always looking for his next head rub and cuddle. The only other thing we think he loves more than giving affection is food!!
Glacier would suit all types of families - from single person to a family with children. \ He still possess a bit of kitten playfulness in his bones along with a touch of lazy tom cat.
Glacier was abandoned by his previous owner and taken into foster care by the Western Suburbs branch. His foster Mum can not stress enough how loving and gentle Glacier is. We would love to see him in a permanent home and with a family that will not abandon him again.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
