About Ranger
Ranger is bubbly, bright and bouncy - a typical Jack Russell. He loves children but is not so good with other dogs. He is used to being the only dog and we think he has been house trained at some point. He has only just been de-sexed however, so is still a little strong willed. Ranger will be a wonderful family dog for someone who doesn't want anything too big. He is such a strong personality, good fences are a must and he does like to play in the water a lot. He is learning to walk on a lead and is keen to meet other people. He is not so good with cats or small furry pets so he would do best in a single pet household. Ranger is an excellent guard dog. Typical of the breed, with an assertive and energetic personality he's bold, brash, vigorous, and supremely self-confident but he will make can be a terrific family pet. He has a gentle and kindly nature with people and is usually friendly with small children -- if they are well-behaved
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
