About Leaf
LEAF
3 year old
Female
Wolfhound x Bull Arab
Leaf was surrendered to Erina Pound as her owners were going through a separation and were not able to keep her. It's obvious that this girl was once very much loved - she weighs 51kgs and the vets say she could stand to lose 5-10kgs (this is very odd for us, as most dogs taken from pounds are underweight!)
You might be wondering how Leaf got her name? Well here is the story - Her foster carer tried to call her Donna (which was the name given to her by her previous owners) and then Mocha (the name given to her by the pound), Leaf shook her head "no" in response! The foster carers son looked at his mum and solemnly said "mummy, she says her name is Leaf", to which Leaf nodded her head and has been responding to that name ever since!
This girl has a heart of gold - is absolutely fabulous with children, she currently lives with 5, great with other dogs, and in her old home her best mate was a cat.
Leaf will sit and wait for her dinner, shake hands on command, loves the beach, and is just a general all round well behaved dog with an amazing personality that you are just going to fall in love with!
She is currently located in Medowie NSW, but transport can be arranged Australia wide.
Her adoption fee is $350, she comes vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested and treated, desexed, wormed and flea treated.
Leaf deserves the very best of homes where she will be loved and spoilt for the rest of her life - if that's you, please email us at forgottensoulsdogrescue@hotmail.com
