Bella

Meet the beautiful Bella! She is your typical, spirited little tricolour Kelpie puppy. She is approximately 8 months old. She came down to us from Broken Hill RSPCA with an unknown background. Since then, she has had all vetwork including desexing, microchipping and vaccinating done and is ready to find her new forever home!

She has been living in doggy paradise with her foster carer and three other dogs of all different sizes and ages and gets on fabulously with them. She has daily off leash walks beside the river each morning and spends her weekends down at the beach playing with all the other dogs she meets on her travels.

Bella is a sweet, submissive girl who greets other dogs by rolling over for sniffs. She also does this meeting people and loves a good belly rub. A complete little smooch – she will be loyal to anyone who gives her a cuddle! Her whole body wriggles in delight as you approach as she just can’t wait to greet you. She does jump up occasionally, though will correct this behaviour when told.

Bella would love an active home, potentially with another younger playful dog and a family who could provide daily activities for her to participate in. She has a magnificent recall for an older puppy, and can sit and drop on command. She loves being around kids and matches their enthusiasm in both play and love. When Bella is being left unsupervised, plenty of fun toys to keep her amused will be a necessity.

Also letting you know a few days into her time in foster care, we noticed Bella had a slight weakness in her back right hip due to a soft tissue injury. Under close veterinary attention, her dedicated foster carer has provided ongoing rehabilitation for this little lady.

Happily we received the fabulous news at her final vet consultation that she has made a full recovery and is ready to be adopted. We do not expect any on-going treatment will be required.
