About Max on trial in his new home
Max is on trial in his new home.
Meet Max a young and very handsome German Shepherd blend who is looking for a forever home. Max is a seventeen month old German Shepherd cross Malamute and has been a very much loved family member living with a young couple.
Unfortunately they came to the hard decision to part with Max as their busy lives and moving to a smaller property has restricted Max and they want the best for him. So we are looking for a forever home for this young, very playful and affectionate young shepherd.
Max will need a committed owner who will ensure he is an integral member of the family, Max is still got his puppy ways and will jump up when he meets new people, only through excitement. He will need daily exercise, plenty of playtime and inclusion in the family home. We are looking for a family who have owned large breed dogs before and where Max will be given firm boundaries, continued lead and obedience training and a routine in his day which includes lots of playtime.
Max knows his basic obedience but likes to test you out being still an adolescent. He can be strong on the lead until he settles into his walk and is friendly and social with people and would be a good family dog for children over eight years of age only due to his size. Max is not aggressive and is not guard dog material so please do not expect us to home him just as a yard dog this boy deserves a loving home where he is provided with exercise, stimulation and plenty of one on one attention.
Max has not been tested with cats, pocket pets or small dogs.
This beautiful boy is currently located at Lithgow and arrangements can be made to meet Max by contacting Linda.
Medical notes
Max is desexed, vaccinated C5 on heart worm prevention and is regularly flea and worm treated.
