Are you looking for a partner to accompany you on long walks along the beach, make you laugh and smile, share quiet night in watching a dvd under the aircon? Look no further than Murphy, at 8 years of age he's mature and loyal and a big snuggly bear.

Murphy is a Collie cross and as a senior chap he spends most of his days snoozing in the sun. He has a small collection of manners such as sit stay and shake and enjoys nothing more than a belly rub on the grass.

His life has been far from what he deserved but like many recuse dogs his resilience is amazing and he shows little scars from the life he once lived. Each day is a better one for Murphy and he looks forward to finding his forever home where he is valued, respected and loved! He cannot wait to form that special bond with his new owner.

Murphy is great with his foster carers children (age 7} and is currently in care with a large mixed breed dog - they have been enjoying a wrestle together however Murphy is more inclined to just relax given that he is approaching his retirement. He would be best suited to a home as either an only dog with regular human interaction or to a home with an older dog who doesn't run rings around him with excess energy. Murphy is very relaxed and has settled into his foster home with ease. He doesn't require someone to be home with him daily and hasn't had the luxury of regular interaction but this will form a very important role in the new life that he deserves.

Murphy is a large boy and is quite strong so will benefit an experienced or confident owner.

He welcomes strangers with open arms and is delightful to snuggle with! So make room on the lounge, Murphy has his bags packed and is ready to start the next chapter in his life.

Murphy's adopt fee is $250. He is desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. This also includes lifetime registration.
