About Toby ~ Terrier x Maltese (on trial 16/10/15)
Meet Toby - Toby is a 1 year old Terrier x Maltese. He is a friendly, energetic boy who loves nothing more than to play with his stuffed toys, going for walks or even having a play in the water at the lake or beach.
Toby is a cuddly boy who loves his pat’s and would be happy to lay on the lounge with you or stay at your feet. Toby is very unique in his size as he is a medium sized dog with long fluffy coat.
Toby is great with kids - he is best suited to children 8 years and above as he can get excited and jump so he may accidentally knock over a toddler when playing.
Toby is an inside / outside dog who loves to spend time in the garden on warm days , and who loves to spend time inside with his family when they are home. Toby loves to sleep inside.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
