About Domino ~ cattle dog x (On Trial 6/1/16)
Domino is a friendly young man who would fit in almost anywhere. He is fantastic around kids. He has a few of them here and he loves their attention and always seems to enjoy whatever they have planned for him (e.g wearing tinsel).
He gets on well with our other foster dog and eats very politely next to her. He loves going on walks, and is very good on the lead. He would make an excellent family pet.
Before coming here, he was on a farm and they report that he was good around farm animals.
Domino has excellent recall, and will come to you when you call his name, making it easy at the dog park.
He loves catching a ball and is excellent company, also enjoying sitting by your feet when you are home. He copes if left at home without humans.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
