Meet Boreas!
Boreas is a young and energetic fellow who lives an active life. He is a cancer, loves long walks on the beach and enjoys a nice home cooked meal (every now and then).
He is a handsome man with an exotic Eurasian heritage. His Mother is Chinese (Shar Pei) and English (Staffie) and his Dad is Australian (Red Heeler).
Unlike many males, Boreas loves public displays of affection – he’s not afraid to kiss you in front of your friends and he quite likes to snuggle.
What's more, he learns things really quickly and does everything you tell him. That's right! He is an obedient young man.
Having said this, Boreas doesn't like sharing too much - he's the kind of guy who wants all your attention to himself. This means he'd like you to be home often. He is a wee bit of a mummy's boy so wouldn't actually mind if you are a stay at home mum, who is around all the time.
Boreas is an extremely loyal and faithful guy who will reward you with so many kisses and hugs, you'll think you've won the lotto.
He is an open minded kind of guy, so he doesn't mind if there is already a male or female on the scene (of the fur kind) but will need a little bit of time to get to know them.

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
As we rely on our foster carers (who are all volunteers and have families, jobs and pets of their own) to help with adoptions it may take a couple of days to organise for you to meet a dog once you have submitted your adoption application. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us while we work with you to ensure the perfect match for your family.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
**Please note that all paperwork including the Microchip Change of owner form will be handed over after the 10 day trial period.**
