Jacques

I'm trying a new home to see if i like it!!
Jacques came from the pound looking rather cute until it came time for
Grooming as it was discovered that his coat was just one big matt. Fortunately for jacques, his coat was clipped off while under anaesthetic for his desexing or it would have been an unforgettably painful experience for him. Jacques is another example of a very neglected dog and vet staff were surprised to find such a skinny
Little body when his coat had been removed (see photo below). Despite all this, jacques' wonderful personality is intact and his little skinny tail never stops wagging. Jacques is going to be very handsome once his coat grows back and he puts on some weight. If you look at the photo of him before he was clipped you will get some idea of how he will look but of course he will be minus the matts! jacques new home must be with another dog. He came in the pound with jumping jack flash who fortunately has the type of coat that will never get into the state of his friend jacques. A little dog, perhaps a little female, would be perfect for jacques. He will be house trained before he leaves foster care and will only be rehomed as a house dog. Jacques has a high maintenance coat and will require regular brushing at home and regular clipping by a groomer. Update 22 february: jacques has been in foster care for a few weeks now and is progressing very well. He loves all of the human attention available to him, loves to sit on his humans lap for cuddles and is very peaceful and calm. He doesn't bark at anyone passing by and is just happy doing whatever his humans are doing. Jacques follows his carers everywhere as he is a very loyal little dog. His coat is growing back now and he has gained weight so jacques no longer looks at all like the little waif that arrived from the pound. Jacques comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $330. If you would like more information on jacques or to arrange to meet him, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
