About Rex
Rex is a real gentleman. Great with people, cats and even rabbits, he is very obedient and ready to please. Doesn't bark and will happily sleep downstairs all night without disturbing you, ready to greet you with a waggly tail in the morning! He is currently an indoor/outdoor dog (mostly indoor).
He has bonded very quickly to his foster family and although he loves pats and attention, he is just as happy to lay in his bed or at your feet - just knowing you are there is enough to send him into happy doggie dreams.
He is great with other dogs in social situations and is only up for adoption as he displayed aggression (when it came to his food and bed) toward other male dogs he was living with. For this reason Rex will be happiest in a one dog only home.
Rex loves a long walk (bush walking especially) and enjoys a quick cool down dip in the dam. He is excellent on a lead and although he makes plenty of time in his day for naps, he has plenty of energy when it comes to excursions and play! Rex has been great with children in past, however, he has not recently been observed with children under 5 years old ...but with his laid back, gentle, 'do-gooder' personality you can be confident he'll make a friend of the whole family.
This adorable boy will melt any heart with his instant affection and good manners. Easy to take anywhere and keen to meet everyone. Totally chilled, totally sweet, totally ready for his very own human to love!
