About Maleeka (good with cats!)
Hi there! Are you looking for a little lap warmer with an adorable face and a heart of gold? That's me! I'm a sweet and friendly girl with a bubbly personality who just loves people and human company. I would be best suited to a home with someone who is retired, works from home or is otherwise around a fair bit, as I just love to be with you. I'm very confident and sure of myself which means I can be very bossy with other dogs, so I would like to be the only dog in the home, though I am quite happy to live with a cat or two!
I walk very nicely on a lead and really enjoy my daily walks so I would love a home where I get to go out and about on little adventures with you (the park at the end of the street counts as an adventure you know!)
I am a true lap dog and will bond very quickly to the lucky person who takes me into their family. My human dad passed away very recently, which is why I am looking for a new home to call my own. I have experienced a lot of upheaval and change so please understand that I am still grieving and feeling a little anxious - with your help in a secure, loving home, I will settle in in no time.
Medical notes
I have received treatment for a very nasty flea infestation and I still have thinning hair and skin irritation resulting from this. More information will be available to my adoptive family.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
