Opie .... dog and child friendly

Opie is a 3 year old Boxer x Bull Mastiff cross with a heart of gold. She is a big softie who just loves human company and a good belly rub. She is just so very affectionate!
Opie has earned herself the nickname “Little Piggy” due to her snuffles, snorts and big ol’ grandpa snores lol.

She is a big girl with plenty of energy, and while she is quite happy
to lounge around in the sun at home she is even happier after a
long walk, or even a run around the block!
Opie has good recall but will need a little work on the lead. She does get excited and can pull at times. So some training is recommended.

Opie is house trained and doesn't bark when someone comes to the door. Instead she runs to greet them... awaiting a pat (more so a belly rub) 😊.

I believe that Opie would be best suited to an active family who are
able to commit to Opie’s training and skin care which is managed though diet and a weekly bath. (We have even managed to extend the time of her requiring a bath solely based on diet).

Opie is a very affectionate girl and although she loves children, would better suit a household with older children as sometimes she just doesn't know her own strength! In the right family, Opie will be sure to thrive and your care and efforts will be abundantly rewarded with unconditional love and a happy healthy companion.

Okie gets initially excited when meeting new dogs but settles down quickly.
