About Winnie
Hello, I’m Winnie. I have had a rough time of late, I was hit by a car when I was 3 months old and I broke my leg. I had to have it plated and then spend some time in foster care to recover. My leg has now healed and I am ready to head off to my forever home. If you'd like to come and meet me while I'm in foster care, please call the lovely staff at the Lort Smith Adoption Centre on 9321 7260 to make an appointment.
My new home will be one where I will get plenty of human company, as I can get stressed when left alone all day. To help with this, another doggy companion would be great, I love to play and would enjoy the additional company!
I am an active dog and will need daily, and maybe even twice daily walks to keep me happy and fit... But this isn’t all, I am easily bored as I am intelligent and need things to keep me occupied whilst I am at home. I love kongs, bones and chew toys. I enjoy obedience training and learning new things, so will need an owner/family who is committed to ongoing training. I am also toilet trained, so would like to be able to come inside and spend time with my family.
