About Gemma
Say hello to our sweet little Gemma :)Sweet Gemma has been very miss understood in her previous home/s (YEShomes :( ) and she has not had the proper attention that she has needed which has left her being a very confused little girl.Gemma has been brought up surrounded by other dogs and young children which is great for socialisation how ever she has never had the one on one time during all of that and it seems no one had noticed how unsure and scared she has been during this time. There-fore no one has worked with her one on one to build up her confidence making her a confident little terrier and mostly it sounds like she has not been a happy little girl.Gemma uses a doggy door to go to the toilet and had been sleeping inside her last home and her foster home with us will ensure she is very loved and part of the family with hopes that with slow introductions in a positive manner- she will 'come to love life'- something which we think she has not enjoyed in the past. She has not been physically mistreated as such - but she has been overlooked and not treated like a loved little princess should be.We hope to change this ASAP! Gemma is looking for a patient person with lots of love to give. Someone who understands dog behaviours and has had some experience with positive based dog training. Why does Gemma bark? Because she is very unsure of what is going on around her- if you think you can offer Gemma the support-love and home that she needs please contact us ASAP via email (email enquiry below). Tell us about the home you can offer the previous dog experience you have had and let us know how you could help Gemma (for example; how would you try and combat her barking?)Gemma is located in Reservoir Vic for meet and greets
