About Sarge
Introducing the regally handsome Sarge, a Bull Arab x Kelpie boy. When Sarge and his siblings came into Wally's care he was seriously underweight and very timid around people. Sarge would try and hide in his crate, while his sister Suki, who was in foster care with him originally, was more outgoing and he would follow her lead. Now that Sarge has been in foster care for a while, he has really come full circle. He has put on some much needed weight and is well and truly looking like the healthy puppy he should be.
Sarge will now come when called and he especially LOVES his cuddles from the adults and kids of his foster family. Sarge is in foster care with 5 other dogs of all sizes and ages and he gets along amazingly with all of them. He is in his element when he is outside running amok with the others, and then they all snuggle together and snooze. As you can see from his pictures, Sarge likes to laze around a lot and is not a super high energy puppy, but he is the most beautiful gentle boy you would ever meet. Sarge is toilet trained and has mastered the use of the doggie door so he can take himself out whenever he needs to.
A home with another doggie companion would be perfect for this gorgeous boy or someone who is home alot of the time. He will thrive in a home where he is made to feel a part of the family. Sarge loves the beach and has now experienced the joy of riding in the back of a ute along with his foster friends and totally loved it!
Sarge will grow into a large dog and needs a confident owner that can give him leadership and training so he can be an active member of the community. Puppy school is highly recommended and ongoing socialising with adults, kids and other dogs would also be beneficial.
To kickstart Sarge's training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Sarge.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Sarge. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Sarge, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Sarge is located at Blue Haven on The Central Coast of NSW and available for adoption now.
