Baxter

A true people-lover, Baxter is a gorgeously affectionate and happy boy. Tummy rubs, playing or sunbathing in the spring sunshine and going on long walks are some of his favourite things in the world.

With ongoing guidance and lots of love, Baxter will make a wonderful life-long companion.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be kind and patient, and committed to my ongoing training. I'm very enthusiastic! An adult-only household will suit me best, although children of at least high-school age might be a good fit (I love kids, but I also love to rough-house!).

MY ENERGY LEVEL: One walk per day will be essential to keep me happy and healthy. When it's hot, I love to laze around in the shade.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Although I love children and have spent a lot of time around them, a household with older kids (12+) is going to be best for me. I'm a strong, nuggety little guy and I'm afraid I do tend to jump about quite a bit in my eagerness to play.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I tend to be a bit ruffled by other male dogs, and although female dogs don't bother me I'm probably going to be happiest as a solo dog.

I haven't met any cats yet.
