About Spike
Introducing the very handsome Spike, who is a 10 week old Bull Arab x Kelpie boy.
When Spike 1st came to Wally's with his siblings he was very underweight and timid around people. Spike is still a bit timid and shy at 1st but when he feels comfortable he will follow you around all day and he loves, loves, LOVES cuddles and just to be near you.Spike is a gentle boy who is great with kids and his host dogs, a 13 year old matltese and a 10 week old puppy, and he loves playing with them and then snuggling up with them to sleep at night. A home with another dog or someone who is home alot of the time will be ideal for Spike, he will thrive in an environment that will make him feel part of the family.
Spike, while a small puppy now, will grow into a large dog and needs a confident owner that can give him leadership and training so he can be an active member of the community. Puppy school is highly recommended and ongoing socialising with adults, kids and other dogs would also be beneficial. Spike is still in the process of toilet training and he still has some accidents.
To kickstart Spike's training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Spike

When enquiring about Spike, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Spike is located on The Central Coast of NSW
