About Tyler DL304
Can you foster Tyler? Unfortunately his family have to move and are unable to take him, so he needs to find a foster or forever home.
He loves company and being with his humans - once he settles in with you he makes a very loyal friend. Very good with children and gentle, though new kids can be exciting so he might try to kiss them.
Tyler is very well mannered indoors: sits and lays down when asked, wait to be told to eat, goes into his bed while we are having dinner and waits to be called. He doesn't eat or destroy things, no digging the lawn either.
He likes cuddles and to be part of every family activity, will follow you around and sit right behind your legs as soon as you stop. Likes to be warm and snug in his bed, in winter sits in front of the heater and I don't know how he can manage not to cook himself!
Tyler likes to go on trips in the car and walks. He still finds walks exciting, but he is learning to walk on a harness and halti, and soon calms down after a couple of blocks. When at the beach or park I keep him on a long leash.
Tyler has gotten along well with other dogs in the past, though now seems to be scared of them. He would be content as the only dog at home or could go with a laid back female dog, to help Tyler get his confidence back. (He's had play dates with a similar dog and they just chill out together).
If you can help Tyler into a loving home, please contact us by text or email to apply - sorry, we can't take calls.
