Finn is such a happy boy, he's always wagging his tail as fast as he can. The world has gotten a whole lot bigger for Finn and he's still learning through new experiences and slowly understanding the ways of love and compassion. He is a very loyal boy and likes someone to be home more often than not but most of all he can not be without a doggie companion or two.
Finn is very gentle and cautious when coming up to you, he can be scared and run away but only far enough so that he can still see you. Finn prefers his pats and cuddles when he is laying down, he loves the couch and has made it his new bed.
If you are looking for someone to cuddle on the couch then Finn might be the boy for you. He even likes to sneak a kiss in sometimes and he slowly lifts that back leg of his for belly rubs being a little unsure if he should be asking for such a thing.
When you go to pick Finn up he'll go to lay down like his scared but once his in your arms being cuddled, carried and receiving pats he really adores you for it, when you put him down he wags that tail even faster smiling back at you.
Finn is going to need someone in his life with patience and understanding to help him become the dog he truly wants to be and overcome his uncertainty of the world. He is getting better with his sits but he becomes very excited when food is present. Finn is not fussy when it comes to food but raw meats and veggies are his favorite especially a raw meaty bone. Finn has no aggression in him at all but he will try to pinch other dogs food for himself if he is not supervised.
He is fantastic traveling in the car but is still a little unsure sometimes about jumping into the car, as long as he is with his doggie friends his a happy boy.
He is improving everyday walking on the lead but is terrified of people running towards him, children and loud noises. He generally likes to use you as his safety shield walking behind you but sometimes he gains his confidence and walks beside you.
Finn loves using the doggie door to come and go as he pleases. Finn is not interested in toys but his still learning about how to play and is curious about the whole thing, he prefers to play with his doggie companions.
Finn is scared of children so an adult home would suit him best.
