About Ellie
Hi my name is Ellie. I am a distinguished Dane looking for my perfect forever home. I am 5 years young and full of energy and personality. I love to run and zoom around and then chill out with my family. I’m not really into other dogs, in fact sometimes they can make me nervous but I LOVE humans! I really am a people dog and will do most anything for food. I would really enjoy the opportunity to live with a human who has the time to teach me cool stuff especially if there are tasty treats on offer!
I am prone to worrying about my family and being over protective so I really need a family who will exude calm confidence and give me clear rules and boundaries, then I can relax and just be a goofy loveable Great Dane which is my true self. Given the right leadership and training I promise to entertain you with hours of hilarious antics as I go about my daily activities. I also make a pretty good snuggle buddy on the couch when invited… hint hint!
Being a sophisticated and mature girl I would be quite happy as the only dog in the family but I might consider a large male companion if he were the super calm, confident and balanced type… perhaps a bit of handsome thrown in wouldn’t hurt either… everyone loves a bit of eye candy right?!
I’ve lived with cats and I really don’t mind them at all but for some reason I just don’t like little dogs and in particular socialising with them at places like the beach or dog park just isn’t my thing. For this reason exercising on property or on lead is definitely what suits me best. I haven’t lived with kids so I wouldn’t like to be negotiating my way with little humans but the slightly older ones would be great company.
So all that said, if you think you could be my perfect match please call Suzanne from the Great Dane Lovers Association of WA on 0407 532 459 and she will put us in touch. I just know my new perfect home is out there waiting for me! *mwah* Ellie
