About Buddy on trial in his new home
Buddy is on trial in his new home.
Buddy is a seven month old pedigree German Shepherd male dog who has come into care and is learning to be social with his fellow rescue dogs. Buddy is a big boned dog and even at seven months of age is weighing in at 30 kilos.
So we need to find him a home with a family who are experienced with this breed and can manage a large dog. Buddy is a snuggly bundle at the moment and loves to sleep right up beside you whether on the lounge or in bed. He will need a committed family who will ensure he goes to dog training and continued socialisation and plenty of exercise and stimulation.
Buddy was surrendered into our care as he was being attacked by an older male dog but we have found him to be a gentle, affectionate and typical puppy wanting to explore the world.
Buddy is learning to be a good boy inside the house and loves to be around his human pack and craves attention. \ So if you understand that he is still teething, jumping up and mouthey and demands attention at all times until he is too tired and just falls asleep in your arms, and are prepared to include Buddy in your home and not leave him as a yard dog then please contact Linda.
We will not be homing him to a family with children under eight years of age as Buddy is still a puppy and could knock a small child over but only in play. Buddy has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Buddy is in care at Kurri Kurri near Newcastle and is a desexed dog, fully vaccinated and has been wormed and will be groomed prior to going to his new home.
Medical notes
Buddy is in excellent health has been desexed, vaccinated C5 and wormed.
