About Mishka (Dog Friendly)
Meet Mishka a gorgeous mix of a beautiful lady and loving loyal dog.
Mishka has not had the best life, and found herself in rescue seeking her forever home. She is people friendly and dog friendly.
Mishka loves the beach and the water, and for 8 years old she isin't ready to slow down yet. Mishka walks well on a lead and is still very playful.
Mishka's only fault is despite her previous broken pelvis, she can jump fences. Mishka will require 6 foot solid fences. In foster care Mishka is left inside the home, when her family go out. Mishka is fully house trained, walks well on a lead and does not bark.
Mishka loves the beach and the hose, and is a real water baby. She meets all dogs and people with a wiggle bum. Mishka walks well on lead, has good recall, can sit and shake on command and loves to play fetch with her humans. Mishka doesn't appear to show interest with cats, that she has met in foster care. Mishka would be best suited to a family who are home most of time, or if the family goes out, can have access to the home, to be secure, as she does have some separation anxiety.
Mishka has been waiting a while to find her forever home and we hope to find one for her soon, where she can be loved and feel the comforts of her own forever home.
Medical notes
Previous broken pelvis from being hit by a car, that was not medically treated at the time, by her previous owners and healed itself. Mishka has daily fish oil and glucosamine to keep her joints pain free.
Adoption details
When enquiring about Mishka, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Mishka.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Mishka is in foster care on Central Coast of NSW.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
