About Missy
I am a sweet and loving girl who will make a lovely addition to your family and will bring you lots of joy and fun times.
I'm not as big as you might expect and I am generally so calm and well-mannered that I will just slot into your home.I am a loyal girl who is not aggressive but once I feel at home somewhere I will defend my turf so if you're after a dog who is both companion and warning system, I could be just what you're after. In my previous home I was lucky enough to travel to work with my human Dad most days and I love a good car trip, so if that's what you're after then look no further!
I have good manners and know some basic commands but I'm willing to learn and would thrive on the opportunity to use my brain often. I have lived with other dogs before and would be suited to a home with a male dog who is similar in size to me, pending an introduction of course.
Physically the most amazing thing about me is my incredible ridge along my back! I certainly don't look much like a ridgeback in my other features, but it's quite spectacular and very unusual!
I have lived with kids before and am happy to play with them. I would be best suited to a home with kids 10 years and over, who will respect my personal space when I need it.
I haven't had the best life so far, but I am trusting and loving and so keen to be part of a wonderful family... just like yours! Please get in touch and arrange to meet me today, I can't wait.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
