Jerry was neglected in his former life and arrived into foster care starved of food and affection and had no sparkle in his eyes. As jerry's time passes in foster care he is learning to trust kind hands, soft voices and is enjoying lots of cuddles. Jerry is a no frills, no fuss kinda guy, he'll eat whatever is put before him and isn't demanding. He does enjoy human contact and will nap on the floor nearby, watching what you are doing with one eye open. Jerry gets along very well with his doggy foster brothers but doesn't like cats. He does live with children in his foster home, but he's not into playing games or chasing balls and prefers to just sit and watch the world go by. In time, jerry will probably come out a little bit more and start playing with toys etc. As that is what usually happens once rescued dogs feel comfortable and build confidence. Jerry would love a cat free home, perhaps with another small doggy friend or two, and where someone is home most of the time. He is currently being house trained and will only be rehomed as a house dog. Jerry's coat will need regular brushing and grooming to keep it free of matts and in great condition. Jerry comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $150.
