About Tazzy Bear
- Single dog home only because of occasional food guarding with dogs.
- Single dog home only because of occasional food guarding with dogs.
Hi my name is Taz but they call me Tazzy Bear or just Bear, I answer to any of those names because I’m clever :)
I’m a lovely boy and very well trained, I know how to sit, drop, give high 5’s, release toys on cue & wait for food until told I can eat.
I’m great on the lead and have lived with children all my life, they are now 3 & 6 years old.
I’m house trained and have a very calm disposition, I love tug of war games, playing with the ball and to be honest I simply just love to play.
Sadly I have resource guarding issue’s with food but it only happen twice with the other dog I lived with for 8 years, my food guarding issues started when we moved a year ago, obviously it was because I was a bit insecure when we moved to a new house.
I love to play with other dogs and get along with them really well.
I’m really sad now & cry because I’m not in a home so I hope someone snaps me up real soon. Everyone says I'm the best dog ever because I'm so well trained and love cuddles and playing.

and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan: jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
