About Eddie
Eddie (Black & White) and Nikki (Black) are your typical 2 year old siblings, they are Jack Russell X Springer Spaniel and were unfortunately surrendered due to their human passing away. They enjoy the company of children and currently live with four, but Eddie does get a bit edgy and defensive with toddlers as they chase him and scream a lot.
They are inseparable and have always been together, they like to be walked together so they don’t miss each other. However, they do eat apart due to Eddie having a sensitive belly and having a different diet to Nikki and they are okay with that but still like to keep each other in view, like through a glass door.
Both Eddie and Nikki enjoy just chilling on the couch, they are the same as human siblings and love to play fight with each other and they both bark if they think the yard needs protecting. They both sleep outside, but do enjoy coming inside and interacting as much as possible. Both Eddie and Nikki love baths, and getting groomed, they will just sit and lap up all the attention.
Eddie Is a beautiful natured puppy that loves playing ball, loves playing with older children that don’t chase him and scare him, but most of all he loves having lots of cuddles. Eddie’s last rib turns out instead of tucking under but this does not affect him at all. He also has a sensitive belly so he requires a specific diet that is designed for this, and he does not cope well with left overs as it upsets his belly.
Nikki is the easiest going, laid back puppy you can ask for and is just so loving and caring. Nikki loves to follow her brother when playing ball but more so to stir him up because she won’t actually get the ball, just jump on him. She gets very excited and does a little bum shake when her human comes to see her or let her inside.
All GAR canines are $400 each. There are no discounts for adopting more than one animal.

They are both desexed, microchipped and upto date with their vaccinations flea and worm treatments.
Adoption details
If you wish to adopt Nikki and Eddie, the standard adoption process applies:
* Applicant is to submit an application form for review by Geelong Animal Rescue (GAR) along with any questions you may have.
* GAR makes an assessment and invites successful applicants to continue with the process, and unsuccessful applicants with a reason why they are not suitable for this particular animal.
* A Meet and Greet is organised at a convenient time for both foster carer and potential new owners.
* If suitable, an adoption agreement will be signed and date of pick up is arranged.
* Payment of adoption fee is to be made either prior to collection, or on the day of collection. The adoption fee must be paid in cash or direct debit prior to collection can be arranged.
* The new owner has a 2 week trial period where they can return the animal if they are found to be an unsuitable match.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
