Aurora ~ German Shepherd x (trial 10/10/15)

Introducing Aurora – a stunning 7 month old mixed breed puppy. We think she is a German Shepherd x kelpie. She has such unique and pretty markings – and has gorgeous little eyebrows which gives her face so much expression. She’s got soft puppy fur and she is such a dream to cuddle.

Aurora is in foster care with 5 other puppies of varying sizes and breeds and she is friendly and playful with them all. She loves cuddles and human affection from her humans. \ She has even learnt to sit and wait patiently for cuddles. She’s quite happy to be picked up and carried around and have her ears tickled at the same time. \ She will curl up at your feet while you are preparing dinner, she’s content to just be near you.

Aurora has learnt to sit when asked. She sometimes is a little excited when it’s time for food and forgets to sit, but being just a baby it’s hard to keep still for too long right? She loves food and her favourite treats are peanut butter on bread, cut up banana and apple too. She loves to play with children and is living with 2 human foster sisters aged 11 and 8 years and she plays well with both of them. Aurora is house trained and she knows a few basic commands and will come when called back.

Being so young, Aurora sleeps inside where it’s warm and cosy on her doggy bed. Aurora is an inside puppy and so she needs to be allowed inside when her family is home – she must sleep inside at night even when she’s older as dogs like to be part of the family.

Aurora is in foster care with one other young dog and is very playful and friendly with her. Aurora walks on her lead very well and will walk right next to you and does not pull or tug. She needs reassurance in new places as she gets a bit unsure and scared so a little pat every now and then seems to help her.

She gets a little bit protective of food so feeding time is best kept away from any other pets but apart from this she is a very sweet and pleasant little girl with a beautiful nature. She is always trying to please you and she loves to be around either another dog or person as she gets anxious when she's left on her own for too long.

Aurora would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot. She is too social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. She would love to go to training classes as training and socialization will give her the best start in life.
