Hi my name is Missy and yes I’m an American Stafford that SRV are promoting to help our friends at Staffords In Need.
I’ve had a hard life so far, I’ve been used for breeding and SRV don’t think I’ve been shown any attention because I really enjoy the love & kindness I’m getting now. When I had my behavioural report done I didn’t like the test with loud noises and waving hands, I’m a bit hand shy, no doubt because I’ve been hit by my previous owners, I’m also submissive. I’m a really friendly loving girl with a calm disposition. I don’t need much walking because I’m not used to it and even though I’m young I’ve got a bit of arthritis, this was most probably caused by bad living conditions whilst being used as a puppy machine and not getting the nutrients in my food that I needed. SRV have had a health check and X-rays taken which showed arthritis.
I came from a pound so not much is known about me other than what I've shown whilst staying at my temporary home.
I do know how to sit but would love to learn some more things.
