About Tilly ~ Whippet X ~ On Trial 15/9/15
Tilly is a sweet 3 year old Whippet X female with a beautiful nature. Tilly is a friendly girl – she gets along well with other dogs, children and adults. She is a well-mannered youngster who has outgrown naughty puppy stage, and is a delight to look after. Tilly is a happy girl who has a beaming smile – she loves her cuddles and is very affectionate.
Tilly comes when called, will sit when asked, is house trained and is well behaved with food. She gets very excited at meal time as it’s her favourite time of the day – she loves her treats and isn’t fussy at all when it comes to food. She sleeps inside on a comfy doggy bed and sleeps the whole night through. She walks very well on the lead and loves spending time outdoors on lead walking with you and exploring the neighbourhood and parks.
Tilly is on the small side of medium and is a quite dainty build. She is a very adaptable girl and would suit a wide variety of homes and family situations. She would be great with a single or couple of any age, or families with children. Because she loves the company of other dogs, she would also suit a home with another friendly dog. Her perfect family is one who will give her a lot of attention and will love her and treat her as part of the family. Tilly is an inside/outside dog and will suit a home where she allowed both inside and outside to be where her family is. She loves laying outside in the sun soaking up the rays and is equally happy to lie at your feet whilst you potter around inside.
Tilly would be great with children over 6-7 years old - she is interacts well with kids and displays great manners with them. She can get a little excited at play time so if you have toddlers she could accidentally knock little ones – she doesn’t mean to though. \ If your younger children are already confident or used to happy-go-lucky playful dogs then she would be great with them. Tilly really just wants to be everyone’s best friend!
Tilly is a delightful, easy-going girl who will win you over at first woof. For more information or to meet Tilly, please contact Heather on 0426 218 909 or email heathernutsford@live.com. Tilly is in foster care near Erina, NSW (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
