About Piccalilli
Hi My name is Piccalilli!
With eye-catching unique looks beautiful soft short fluffy fur a most kind & gentle but fun loving nature Piccalilli is one very special puppy.
Piccalilli is 100% deaf but is in no way effected by her disability when it comes to living her life to the fullest.
Already at around 13 weeks old Piccalilli is dog social learning many signals of sign language working towards her toilet training and gives the best puppy-bunny couch snuggles anyone could ever want.
A most suitable forever home for sweet Piccalilli would be one where she has indoor & shaded out door access full time (not just shaded outdoor) and a warm secure place in side for her to curl up and sleep at night. Piccalilli has an extremely fair complexion and very little pigment in her fur which will require some very savvy sun smart owners willing to apply suncream and zinc daily to avoid possible skin cancer. While P'Lil is still a puppy she is a big girl who needs a lot of daily exercise stimulation and a good solid routine. With long legs that are growing at a rapid rate Piccalilli will need a backyard/courtyard with high secure fencing.
Being deaf means that Piccalilli will need someone willing to put in the time to teach and encourage her to learn sign language. P'lil is very food motivate and responds well to positive reinforcement.
At the top of Piccalilli's Wishlist would be a home with another canine sibling or two. A well balanced pup to learn off and show her the ropes would be a dream come true.
Piccalilli has met children of all ages and while she is gentle and sweet around those that she meets a home with older children would suit best as they will need to and understand the difference of a dog like her (deaf) and have the ability to and be consistent with her sign language.
