Hi everyone my name is Gem and I'm so happy to meet you ! I found myself in the shelter through no fault of my own however I'm now ready for my new forever home! I'm a very sweet and affectionate girl I love my pats and cuddles! I am a energetic girl who would love to go on daily walks and lots of playtime. I am very boisterous and playful when meeting other dogs so I must meet any dogs that you have at home to ensure that we both get along. I am a very smart girl and have responded well to positive reinforcement training while here at the shelter so it would be great if my new owners would continue working with me. I love my food and I'm very treat motivated which makes me quite trainable. It is also very important that when I am left home alone that I am left with items to keep me occupied. Since I love my food so much things like kongs raw hides treats and bones are great things to leave me with. I get very excited by cats I like to chase them so due to this I can't be rehomed with cats. I must also go to a home with a suitable backyard that I can't escape from. Fencing must be at least 5ft high with no holes or gaps. I love nothing more then being around my human companions and would make a great addition to the right family.
