About Missy - adoption pending
Missy was surrendered from her original home when her owner fell foul of the landlord. Missy would suit a family with children over 5, an older couple or a single person who can dote on her and give her lots of love and attention. She walks on a lead and is used to other dogs but she really prefers to have you to herself. Missy is small - about 30cms at the shoulder, and is fully grown at approx 4kgs. She comes back when called and is keen to please. She loves a nice bone from time to time and loves her cooked chicken treats. A truly wonderful little dog!!
Missy did show some dominance when she came in care and a bit of insecurity and it is for that reason that I am recommending she be an only dog. She is located in Narrandera NSW.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
