About Bobby
Bobby is a lovely cat. He is a Tiffanie breed. See more information on the breed here http://www.burkesbackyard.com.au/fact-sheets/pets/pet-road-tests/cats/australian-tiffanie-cat/#.Veu4whGqpBc \
Bobby came into care with Claws n Paws in July with a large number of other cats from someone who was hoarding animals. His foster family took him and 2 other cats. Shortly after coming into care, it was discovered that one of the cats had a fungal skin infection, so all 3 cats had to stay in quarantine until this was cleared. Bobby is now clear of the infection and out of quarantine and has blended well into the house with his foster family and their 2 existing cats.
Please note, whilst Bobby is a beautiful-natured cat, and so very sweet and gentle (probably one of the gentlest cats we've met!) he is also quite shy. He literally stayed inside his cat igloo for one whole week when he first came into care. But, once he had learned to trust his foster family, he would run to the door to greet them when they went to see him in his quarantined room.
Bobby doesn't like loud noises, and will not suit a family with young noisy children. \ His foster family has 2 children (10 yrs & 12 yrs) who can sometimes be too loud for him, but when they are being quiet, he trusts them and enjoys a pat from them. Bobby will get along with any cat - he is definitely a lover, not a fighter! Bobby will be best suited to a quieter family and one who is prepared to give him time to "hide in his cat igloo" until he feels safe with you.
He has been with his foster family for 2 months now, and they love him very much and are definitely struggling with giving him up for adoption - he is a beautiful cat who is happy to roll over and show you his tummy for a bit of a tummy rub (maybe he thinks he is a dog!!). He has the most beautiful tummy you have ever seen!!
