About Stooge .. happy to be only dog
Stooge is a gorgeous 18 month old boy who loves human company.
He's great around children (ideally over 8yrs as he can jump when excited, however he does settle with reminding). He's good around other dogs and travels well in the car.
Stooge has taken to play Frisbee, tug of war and a spray of the hose.
Stooge currently lives outside and has adjusted well after being an inside dog. He hasn't dug holes or tried to destroy the kids toys.....and i don't think I've heard him bark lol.
Stooge would benefit from being in a home with either:
a) children that would play with him after school
b) or possibly a tradie dog
Stooge loves walks but pulls a little on the lead when its attached to his collar. He however walks beautifully on a head halti so well he could easily be walked by a child (under supervision of an adult of course) He's currently learning to stop at roads, walk at the heel, and not cross over in front of the person walking him.
He is currently living with a cat and after initially wanting to chase it he quickly learnt not too. So with confident cats that do not always run, he's great.
Stooge is currently not suited to houses with small fluffies- such as rabbits, birds or the like as when out walking he is over excited by these when he sees them- so potentially could not be trusted not to chase and capture them.... But again he learns fast so with a confident owner and training I believe he will fit most homes.
Overall Stooge is a beautiful boy that has stolen the hearts of many of my house guests. I believe in the right home with consistent training he is the perfect addition. As with all dogs, ongoing training is the key to their behavior.
Stooge is located in Warranwood.
