About Russel
Hey there! I'm Russ and I'm keen to come home and be your new best mate. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion to brighten up your life then I'm the guy for you. I'm a really social, loving boy who gets on with everyone I meet, human and dog alike. I'd love a home with another dog to be my buddy so if you've got a lonely pooch then consider adopting me!
I'm only a young fella so I've got heaps of potential and am eager to please. Unfortunately, I've already had a couple of homes in my life and no one that I've lived with before has bothered to spend time giving me the training I crave so I'm not gonna lie - I'm a cheeky boy who will push the boundaries and try to get away with anything you let me. If you are looking for a low-maintenance dog to spend most of the time in the backyard then please, keep looking cos I'm not for you. But if you have some experience with working breed dogs, are willing to put in time every day to do some training as well as exercising me regularly and including me as pat of family life, then please adopt me today!
I'm fully housetrained and have good manners in the house in general (although if you have a large collection of expensive fine china you might want to put it out of the way!) and I am extremely responsive to commands when you take the time to teach them to me.
I'm enthusiastic about life with bucket loads of get up and go. I've got a gorgeous grin and will no doubt bring lots of fun to the life of my lucky new family.
I would best suit a home with kids over the age of 10 as I can be a bouncy boy and I'm not always sure of my own strength. I'm not suited to a home with horses, livestock or chickens because I think those things are loads of fun to chase!!
I'm a great boy who will be an awesome dog in the right home. If you think I'm what you're looking for to complete your family, call today and come meet me. I can't wait!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
