Hi everyone come and say hello to Mr Shaggy the coolest dude out! Shaggy found himself in the shelter through no fault of his own however he is now ready for his new forever home! Shaggy is a very sweet and social man he can be a little unsure when first meeting new people however it doesn't take long for him to warm up and smother you with love. He is the biggest love bug and absolutely loves his pats and cuddles! It is important that all family members come to meet Shaggy before taking him home to ensure that he is comfortable with everyone. Shaggy is a very smart boy and it would be very beneficial to continue ongoing obedience training with him. He is a quick learner and very food motivated which makes him quite trainable. Did you know that he can already sit and shake! Positive reinforcement training is also a great way to bond with Shaggy. It is also important to leave Shaggy with items to keep him occupied when left alone to ensure that he doesn't become destructive. He loves his food so things like kongs bones raw hides and treats are great things to leave him with!
