Oso *On Trial in His New Home*

Then you can’t go past strikingly handsome Oso the purebred Chinese Crested Powderpuff!! \ He’s looking for a loving home with a lap to call his own; will it be with you?

Recently rescued from our local pound, where he’d ended up through no fault of his own, Oso is a very affectionate, polite, gentle, happy, lively, and loving young dog. All he wants from life is someone who’ll give him plenty of cuddles and hugs and have time to spend with him so a retiree or someone who is home a lot would be perfect for this gorgeous guy.

Chinese Crested Powderpuffs are extremely loyal and totally devote themselves to their owner and will follow you everywhere; even to the bathroom! Not normally yappy they are a good security dog when someone comes to the door barking to let you know. \ Being intelligent they are very willing to learn and can easily be taught to fetch and retrieve or to perform tricks.

Loveable Oso loves playing with his doggie toys or going for rides in the car. He’s good with other dogs, shows no interest in cats and is perfect around children. He can be a bit wary when meeting strangers though soon warms up. Oso hasn’t had much in the way of training in his previous life though is getting the hang of “sit” and he will need some guidance on a lead in his forever home having rarely spent any time on one, but we reckon he’d enjoy getting out and about on a daily walk.

Being a Powderpuff Oso has a double, very soft, straight coat which doesn’t moult, he will however require regular brushing and a professional clip a few times a year to keep him looking like the supermodel he is! As he sleeps inside at night and is toilet-trained he would be best suited to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle in a home where his humans are around fairly often. Secure fences, chicken necks to chew, toys to play with and loads of love will make Oso very happy indeed!
