About Luna (Dog Friendly)
Lunalicious was rescued from Yagoona RSPCA by Wally's Doggie Rescue, after her human family went there separate ways and she was surrendered along with her best mate and son to the pound. Her friends were re homed but not Luna.
Luna is very timid and spent time in doggy rehabilitation, to grow confidence away from her pack and has now come into Wally's care. Luna does not like loud noises and strangers scare her. Luna will need to build up her trust with her new family and then will shine through.
Luna walks well on a lead and can sit on command. Luna first instinct is to run when she feels fear, so will be best off to be kept on a lead when out and about. She has met a cat before, and sniffed it, wagged her tail and lost interest.
Luna is living with two other dogs a female German Shepard and male small terrier and an adult cat. Luna spends her days laying around and sleeping and loves her human foster parents. Luna will continue getting as much exposure in foster care as possible, so we can match the right family to Luna.
Medical notes
Healthy Girl.
Adoption details
When enquiring about Luna, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Luna.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Luna is located on Central Coast in East Gosford,NSW.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
