Cherrie

Meet Cherrie. This little girl is special and needing to find that special home with a furever family ready to go that extra mile.

Cherrie has not had the ideal start to life that most little puppies get to experience. \ Cherrie was abandoned in a box and left in a suburban park. To make things worse, this little princess is completely blind in both eyes. This means that Cherrie requires extra special care and the right family to provide special training to help her get through life with her disability.

Being blind hasn't stopped Cherrie enjoy life, she is an extremely playful and active little girl who loves to use other sensory skills to help her get the most out of life. \ She has adapted to being blind by developing her sense of smell and hearing sounds to traverse around her foster home and interact with her foster fur siblings. \ She loves children and quite happily plays with her tug toy followed by lots of cuddles.

Cherrie would benefit from having a fur sibling to keep her company and to help her navigate around her home environment. Ideally she would not be left alone for long periods of time during the day, as she requires lots of love in her early stages of life to continue to adapt to being blind. Experience with training blind dogs would be an advantage.
