About Molly ~ (adopted by carer 22/03/16)
Molly is a very sweet 1yo, Australian Cattle Dog x Greyhound. She is a very gentle girl who loves to share her day with other dogs, and she even considers cats to be her friends! She will make a very loyal companion for someone who will love her as she has a big heart with lots of love to give in return.
She is a medium-sized dog. She LOVES her food, and would happily eat as many meals as you would care to give her -- everything is yummy!
If you’re looking for a well-behaved dog this girl ticks most of the boxes; she doesn’t bark very much at all, she doesn’t try to dig or jump out of her yard, she is house-trained and walks well on the lead. She shows no aggression whatsoever to other dogs, and in fact is a bit of a sook, so she is keen to avoid any trouble that might be heading her way. At times she seems a little insecure and is frightened by raised voices or new situations, but her confidence will grow as she matures and is accepted into a home where she is loved.
Molly would benefit from the company of another dog if she needs left home alone during the day. She loves to have the company of either people or another dog most of the time.
This girl would be a wonderful family dog, or an ideal companion of a single person or couple. She is an inside-outside dog; happy to sit out in the sunshine during the day so long as she has another dog for company when no one is home. She is used to coming inside with the family at night. She loves to snuggle into you on the couch, and is often seen dozing with her head on her foster-carer’s lap. Molly needs a daily walk and would enjoy trips to the park or beach. Life with active owner(s) would be ideal.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
