About Nellie (Dog/Cat/Poultry Friendly)
Nellie is the most gentle, loving, sweet natured puppy She is living happily in a foster home with 4 dogs, a cat and chickens and is gentle with all of them. She loves be near her humans and loves cuddles. Nellie needs a home where she will get more training in doggie manners because she will be a big girl when she is grown but she is a very quick learner. She walks well on a lead and knows basic commands. Nellie sleeps inside at night but she does enjoy the outdoors in the daytime too. Although there are no small children in her carers home, she is so gentle she will probably be good with children and does not jump on people. She shows no food aggression, is dog and cat friendly. She seems to love everyone and would need to have her socialization with other dogs kept up as she grows. Her ideal home would have a doggie playmate and a good big yard to romp in. Although she is not a super high-energy dog, but will need good daily walks and play areas and company to keep her happy and well behaved. Nellie will be ready for adoption after her vet work is completed.
Nellie is avaialble for adoption on the 23rd of September 2015.
Medical notes
Healthy Pup.
Adoption details
When enquiring about Nellie, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Nellie.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Nellie is located on Central Coast in Springfield, NSW.
