“Charlie Girl”, Dream Come True. Melbourne

Some say that every greyhound dreams of finding a couch one day, and for Charlie Girl this dream has come true. Charlie Girl is entertaining her foster carers with her sheer wonderment at discovering all the delights of living as a pet. After many years as a breeding dog, this girl can hardly believe her luck.

Charlie Girl is living with two greyhound foster siblings, who are showing her how to behave in a home, and how to play! Charlie loves playing chasey with her foster sister, and collecting stuffed toys. Charlie would benefit from having another confident dog in her forever home, to help her keep learning. Her humans will also need to support her ongoing training, and she's still learning some household manners like sleeping through the night, and keeping her voice down when she gets excited. Charlie Girl hasn’t met any cats yet, but will be tested soon.

Charlie Girl would do best in a home with a yard, where she can practice her greyhound “zoomies”, and her newfound skills in burying bones. She also has an eye condition called pannus, which can be easily managed using daily drops. Charlie Girl is looking for a special household where her dream life as a pet can continue, and with love and guidance, we’re sure Charlie Girl will be a dream come true for whoever adopts her.
