“Myra”, The Wise Soul. Melbourne

Myra is a sweet, soft girl with kind, knowing eyes. Her foster carer says she has a look of wisdom about her, like a wise soul, and connects with people very easily.

Myra is a true couch potato who doesn’t need a big yard, although loves getting out for a walk and a sniff around the neighbourhood. She’s an easy dog who has adapted well to foster care. Sensitive Myra can be frightened by other dogs when out walking, but enjoys having them for company in the comfort of her own home, although ideally with a dog of a similar energy level. She would be fine with older, gentle children, but does not wish to share her space with cats.

Myra has a great sense of humour, and is entertaining her foster carers with her funny little habits. These include rubbing her nose meticulously after she’s eaten or been for a walk; napping upside down (a greyhound speciality!); and hopping around like a tap dancer if you scratch her in just the right place.

Myra is ready to grace some lucky home with her gentle, loving presence.
