“Bonnie”, The Knockabout Girl. Cat Friendly. Melb.

Bonnie’s a no-fuss, knockabout kind of girl, who’s full of happiness and gratitude at having the chance to be a pet. Bonnie adores humans and is always up for a laugh or a cuddle. She’s also the neighbourhood busybody, who likes to watch what everyone’s doing when she’s out for a walk, and is expert at eliciting pats and cuddles from everyone she meets.

Although Bonnie’s fit for a mature girl, she’s happy to lounge around, and would be fine in an apartment or townhouse. She enjoys the company of other greyhounds, but is also likely to be fine as an only dog. Bonnie lives with a cat, and is practising socialising with non-greyhounds, but will require continued monitoring with cats or small dogs while she’s still learning.

Being new to life as a pet, Bonnie needs to live with people who will set clear, consistent boundaries that will enable her to learn. She responds well to guidance, and modifies her behaviour when she knows she’s done something wrong.

Bonnie has a shimmering black coat, with a few scars for “street cred”, and a wide doggy grin that she flashes at any human who’ll give her some attention. Bonnie is loving life as a pet, and is looking for some human best friends to share the good times.
