About Gopher
Gopher is a wonderful happy little pup. He is hairy and less like a staffy than his two brothers. We are unsure of the mix but we know there is staffy in his breeding based on his brother (Tiger). Gopher is affectionate and seeks approval and would suit just about any family situation. Of course he would benefit from some training and he is not yet house-trained. He is used to being outside and would happily stay out all day as long as he is warm! He loves his food and eats just about anything with the staffy tendency to overeat if allowed. Just a little cutie with a great personality and a unique appearance!
Medical notes
All three dogs in this litter have a slight weakness in their front paws in that they walk as if wearing "flippers" and the toes seem to slap the ground just a little bit. Most literature I have read says that they will most likely grow out of this with attention to their diet, and indeed I have seen a marked improvement since the pups came into care on 20th August. All pups will be de-sexed on 8th September and will be ready to go to their news homes shortly thereafter. A vet report on the condition can be provided after their next vet visit.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
