About Sam (Cat/Dog/Child Friendly)
Sam is a gorgeous boy saved from a country pound by Wally's Doggie Rescue, as an unwanted litter, with his siblings.
Sam will be a large dog with low to medium energy. Sam is in foster care in a family environment with two children age 6 and 9 years, 2 adult cats, 4 adult dogs, and two other puppies. Sam has not had the best start to life, and can be timid in certain situations. He just wants to be loved and have his family to call his own. Sam can be a real talker and lets you know he is happy to see you! But more importantly Sam thinks he is lap dog and would sit on your lap all day if you let him. Sam is starting to play with his foster siblings and other pups in care. Sam has not seen a cat before, and wanted to sniff and lick them. Sam will quiet happily follow you around the yard and inside the home.
Sam is fed a premium diet of Royal Canin puppy biscuits and raw chicken mince. Sam will happily share his bowl with his foster siblings, but does eat his food rather quickly, when placed in front of him.
Sam is learning to be inside dog and is currently learning his basic obedience training of walking on a lead, sit and stay. Sam has great recall off lead as well, in the front yard. Sam is fully crate trained and goes straight to bed and sleeps through the night, fuss free. Sam does jump up when he first meets you, and will be best suited with older children due to his size, but is responding to correction well. Sam loves soft toys and toys that make noise, and will happily play with them all day and does not chew up his toys or bedding.
Sam is microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated and desexed and is available for adoption today!
A meet and greet of the beautiful Sam can be arranged.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Sam, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Sam.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Sam is located in Green Point on Central Coast, of NSW.
