On Hold
Hi, it's Destiny here, and I'm looking for a home. I have been in Lort Smith's care since the 22nd of July, that's more than 70 days! Trust me, in doggy years it seems like a lifetime! A lot has happened during my stay here, would you believe that I gave birth to six puppies!? My little ones have all found new homes and now I'm hoping it's my turn soon. I'm a lovely dog and have managed to maintain calm behaviour up until now, but understandably I'm getting a bit restless and would really love to go to a new home ASAP! I've been told that people may get a bit put off from me as I'm a little wary of new people, but once I get to know you, I am a sweet, gentle natured young girl. Just ask the staff at Lort Smith! I love love LOVE to go for walks and I enjoy a good game of fetch. I am very excitable and would be best suited a home with no other pets or possibly a dog with a similar temperament. Due to my boisterous nature I will require ongoing obedience training and a committed owner.
Destiny is currently enjoying some time away from the shelter environment in a foster care home. If you'd like to make an appointment to meet Destiny, please call the team on 03 9321 7260.
