“Stella”, The Feisty Redhead. Brisbane

Stella is like a cross between a firecracker and a teddy bear! She loves running, jumping, playing and even dancing – anything involving moving. She also loves cuddles, and is most settled when receiving pats from a favourite human. If there’s not enough room on the couch, she rests her head in her foster carer’s lap with her bum up in the air and looks hilarious!

Being high-energy for a greyhound, Stella needs a home with plenty of space to run around, and humans who can help her learn to play it cool sometimes. Stella is a bold, confident girl, who quickly made herself at home in foster care. She craves human company, so will need a home with someone who is around a lot, and would probably also benefit from a canine companion. Stella is not suited to home with cats or small children, although older children who can handle her exuberance may be ok. While she is great with small dogs, she may be too much for them to handle, so we recommend medium-sized and upwards for her doggy companionship.

Stella has a striking appearance, with small but muscular body, covered in gorgeous, extra-cuddly red-brown (“red fawn”) fur. This little live wire is sure to turn heads and warm hearts wherever she goes.
