About Ruby ~ Senior Mixed breed (on trial 30/8/15)
Hi I am Ruby I am looking for my perfect forever home. I am an adorable senior girl, 11 years young. I am a mixed breed but my foster mum thinks says I look like a beagle x English Pointer.
I love to talk just like a beagle and I have the markings of an English Pointer, my coat is so soft to touch and easy to care for. I love to go for walks, my foster mum takes me for 2 long walks a day and I love every minute. I get excited when I see my leash come out but I sit politely like the lady I am while mum puts my lead on.
I love to go for rides in the car and again show my good manners in the car. I am really easy to get on with and not a fussy eater.
I love human interaction and to be inside. I am very well be-haved inside and will let you know when I need to go outside but please don’t leave me outside I love to be with you.
I sleep inside on my bed but if you prefer I will sleep on your bed with you I am a sound sleeper and I don’t take up too much room.
I would love a home where my owner is home a lot, did I mention I love human company? I promise to love you and be you best friend, keeping you company every day. I don’t mind kids but would be more suited to older children. Cats you ask? not sure never really had much to do with them.
So if you would like to share your home with a snuggle bug and real lady please contact my foster mum Frances on 0433101048.
Ruby is in foster care in Neath near Kurri Kurri and is avail-able for interstate adoption.
Ruby's adoption fee is $100 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, micro-chipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
